No matter what...

At least the games are exciting this year. Last year we'd get down 7-0 and I knew the game was over. No matter what you think the problem is with this team, they are all growing pains. The Panthers were a couple bad throws from winning the game yesterday. Steve Smith doesn't fumble, Cam hits Naanee in the endzone, doesn't wind up at 4th and 4 at the end...rookie mistakes. He will improve.

But I'm just excited we have some hope this year. Cam is going to be special, he just needs some time to develop. I see posts about how fans want the team to contend THIS YEAR and THIS PROBLEM and THAT PROBLEM, but jeez, did you watch any games last year? We had a chance to win both of the first two games, and Cam just couldn't score in the red zone. That's what they need to be practicing. There is a ton of hope this year, just be patient and we'll be killing the league in no time.

for the first for games or so i don't even honestly care if we win, because i don't expect to make the playoffs this year. i just want to see progression - specifically, cam making rookie mistakes early and learning from them.

and i have to say, this has been the most fun watching two losses i've EVER had.
