He always gets treated like crap by the "fans", but the guy's a heck of a corner. He did well by the team today.

He was steady in coverage. He was out there tackling and even sacrificed himself to stop a touchdown run.

Lay off the guy. He earns his paycheck.

Gamble has been a fan favorite for a while now. I dont remember anyone who thought fox was right. Most criticism of our secondary is for not having a number 2

Maybe on this forum people like him but I have had tons of arguments, on other sites, with people bashing Gamble. Maybe that is why I call this home now.

He handled last season unprofessionally and he's had plenty of disappointments in the past, but he seems refocused this year and although our secondary has no interceptions, he seems to be nagging the other teams receivers constantly.

Gamble had a pretty damn good game 2, after a pretty decent game 1.

Gamble is playing very well this year. He is setting the standard for our DBs.

Gamble was trashed here constantly in the offseason. He is silencing the haters so far. His hit on Kuhn to save 4 points late in the game was as gritty a play as I've seen a CB make in a while. If some of the armchair coaches around here had their way, Gamble would have been cut in the offseason and these two games would have been a lot less close with Munnerlyn (who HASN'T been impressing so far) covering Jennings and Fitz...

On a side note, it was pretty funny when Pitts or Mora (I forget which) made the (paraphrased) comment after the Kuhn tackle: "Kuhn is 250 lbs, Gamble is nearly 200. Gamble hit Kuhn while giving up 100 lbs on him." My wife and I both looked at each other and laughed.

I've seen a lot of posts about Cutting gamble, saying he's over paid, he's over rated, blah blah blah. He's one of the most scrutinized players on this team, all he does is play hard. He's a top corner in the league.

I haven't been here long enough to know what people thought of him last year, when he had a down year and was sat down, but I'm sure people were calling for his head. I mean people were calling for McDermotts head after game one for christ's sake... I can only imagine what it was like last year.
