I want an HD external Capture card

Ok, I want to record games that I play on my HDTV and xbox 360 to my laptop, I know I can record games by either using a web cam or using a capture card, I would rather use a capture card if it's not too expensive (trying to keep it under $100 or cheaper if possible).

I tried looking but I'm not even really sure what it is that I need and if it's even possible to get what I want(record games that are played on my HDTV to my PC for under a $100) without using a web cam.

Problem you may have is recording to a laptop. You could probably do it pretty cheap if you record to a regular tower, those PCI-e or PCI cards aren't too much and easy to put in.

I don't have a tower at the moment and the next one I'm planing on buying is a Mac mini.
