Cam.. Best Panther QB since 2003!!!

Hands down... Jake in 2003 will always have a piece of my heart as a true Panthers fan for doing what no one ever thought he could do and then take us to the Superbowl..

However, this rookie we have here is making games more exciting than any of us have seen in a long time. You have to admit that every time our offense has the ball in any of these last 2 games, you get excited because you know we can go down and score on any given drive. I don't know about any of you guys, but I haven't felt like that in years!! Newton has everything it takes to be a premier QB in this league and anyone who says otherwise knows nothing about the game. Once we can build a decent offensive line around him that can run block, our running game can get back into swing of things and add to our play calling success.

For all you "oh I would rather have 100yds passing for a win" dumbasses.... THIS IS A REBUILDING YEAR, whether you like it or not! I, for one, have never been more excited about an 0-2 start in all my years of watching the Panthers play. Why may you ask?? Because, this kid is the future, and I mean our franchise Quarterback for a long time to come... He is not someone we need to baby and hand a clipboard for a couple years to learn... He is ready now and it has been proven this past two weeks against a new and tougher Arizona and also against the defending Super Bowl Champs!! Sure he has made some mistakes, but at the same time, this kid is a PLAYMAKER and can keep us in the game no matter the circumstances......

This is Cam's floor here...imagine what he's going to be doing years from now.

As long as Cam sustains this, he'll have the best performance at QB for a season in Panthers history and he'll be among the greats in the league for the year. I expect him to be mentioned alongside the big name QBs in the next few years. Again, all this assuming he continues to progress. He can only get better, right?

Cam has put on a show and brought a tremendous amout of excitement to the Panthers along with National Media Attention. A great pick and even a greater person. I love his character and competitveness. He is our Franchise QB!

I don't know about the whole being the best since 2005, but I am certainly looking forward to watching this young QB progress with the team and continue the success he has achieved in all the adversity he has faced since being drafted.. The reasons for our losses are in no way associated with his play compared to any other QB we have had behind center on this team...
