The playcall, whatever it was, wasn't to take a 3 yard loss by running out of bounds, when you have the option to throw the ball away, and plenty of time to do it, with no pressure which would have been no-gain.

If he was scrambling, and got grabbed or taken down, I could understand. But it clearly just didn't register in that moment with him. That was just a rookie, boneheaded, mental error. These are the type of things that he needs to clean up and work on as a rookie.

And we SHOULDN'T be easy on him, on stuff like this. This is what you hit the film room and football classes for. This is football IQ that he has[ to learn as a QB......... along with sliding. We can't afford to lose this guy to an injury. You only do things like that if you have no choice, and it's in playoff games or Superbowl. Not the beginning of the season.

Cam was supposed to roll right. Naanee took too long to start moving right like he was supposed to. That has nothing to do with my "liking".

Why is it that the other receivers play fast, make hard cuts, and Naanee's cuts are always wide, slow, and weak. Any other receiver would have caught that same pass because they'd have come out of the cut faster, therefore, Naanee plays too slow.

Cam has too much confidence in his ability to throw off his back foot without getting his feet set. Pro Bowl DBs like the Packers have are going to burn him when he does that too many times.

Cam is probably realizing by now that NFL DBs and linebackers are all super quick and fast. Every tenth of a second counts. He's gotta make faster decisions in the pocket and make sure his feet are going as fast as his mind and his arm are. Then, fire the ball in there with the appropriate velocity ... with good follow thru.
