Cutler Formally Requests Trade

So how much is Cutler's contract, some of you are wanting to pick up?

i'm doubting he would ever agree to a trade if there wasn't a contract restructuring involved that would get him what he feels he deserves. the way his ego is going...that isn't going to be a small amount.

more attempts yes, but the Defense knew he was passing most of the time too. Not so with Jake, and imagine Jake's numbers without Smith to bail him out!

In our offense, he's Arm combined with Smith/Moose/Jarret or playing against the run with our OL and Stewart/Williams would give Defenses absolute nightmares.

They would have to basically guess pass/run and hope they picked right play.

I forgot that NFL Defenses can only set up to play the pass OR the run. Denver ran enough to keep the other side honest, but just because they're a pass-first offense is not reason to assume that the defense is constantly lining up with six defensive backs.

You can bold your text and underline all you want, but it doesn't matter, fact is Jake is old, he's almost done, and we can't develop QB's at all. He may not be a leader like Jake right now, but you have to take your chances sometimes. If we were a team that actual builds QB's up I could agree with you guys on passing on him.

And no, not having a running game does NOT inflate his numbers always, the fact that the defense knows he's going to pass almost every time is not that advantageous to a QB.

THE PANTHERS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO ENTER INTO TALKS WITH ANY OTHER TEAM ABOUT PEPPERS!!!!!!

what is so hard about that to grasp????

so you just say, talk about him without specifically stating his name, then go to peppers and say. Well, what do you think about the 3-4 in Denver, sign a tender and trade to them by chance?

people ignore truths that they can't get their little minds around.

No they ignore big ole' twats that bold/underline words so they appear to be cool on a message board. They also ignore people that act like they actually know the inside of sports and how contracts and all this work.

sorry, wouldn't fly.

panthers would get into a ton of trouble for that.

Minny, Tampa and perhaps 3-4 other teams are going to go after him hard. And with a first round pick each of those can offer as starters, Denver can sit back and let the bidding war begin.

We do not have the ammo to compete with them. An almost 30 year old DE expecting a six year contract worth 80-95 million is not a good trade for them.
