Cutler Formally Requests Trade

1st )Jay Cutler is a whining baby. He's cocky without anything to back it up with except his "Rocket Arm". His name got mentioned in a trade and his feelings got hurt now he wants to quit. You really want a player like that? Players on our team rally around Jake. Even after the horrendous arizona game they still supported him. You think if Cutler had a horrible game like that the Denver players would do the same?

2nd) Peppers played out his contract. Even at 85 to whatever percent giving he was still a top 5 DE. Until proven otherwise there is no one our defensive line that is gonna keep coaches up at night trying to game plan for.

HAHAHAHAAH

..even funnier, dude you are killing me

Peppers rallied around him alright. That D sure looked like they gave max effort the last game of the year didn't they? The oline sure was busting some huge hole for our backs against AZ huh?

what team are you watching?

First-- You do not know if they are rallying around him any more than any of us do and secondly, even of they still are, the guy is getting worse not better so its only a matter of time before the walls come tumbling down around Jake Delhomme's pseudo-success.

Second-- Peppers is done at Caroline D-O-N-E. Some say he quit long ago. One can only speculate as to why. The only thing that is for sure is that while Pep may have kept opposing DC's up all night at one point in his career, he just doesn't anymore. The fact that he is still possibly the best player on a defensive line that he no longer wants to be a part of adds absolutely nothing to his trade value nor has it been a successful security blanket for Mike Trgovac and John Fox in recent years.

didn't you know

gantt is one of the biggest idiots in the business and talks out of both sides of his mouth as he puckers up his apologists' lips to the panther organization.

I got tired of listening to his drivel long ago. He is definite show killer on Pac-man too...I take QCB more seriously than that clown

and yet he is so revered, probably because he takes that "quell the talking heads and rumors" stance that everybody likes so much.

It's times like these I just tell people to reference the bolded text in my sig for my opinion on some of these Delhomme apologists.

dude that guy works for the man and in this case "the man" is Jerry Richardson.

Not that that is a bad thing. every franchise needs a mamsy-pamsy, patsy-pushover, spineless d-bag to leak their propaganda to in the press in exchange for "exclusives" and pseudo-celebrity status around town.

I just don't believe a word he says if I happen to accidentally get exposed to him despite efforts to rid his drivel from my life altogether.

I have watched them all my friend.

I agree that i disagree with you and plenty of others.

Your statement leads me to believe that you have seen them rally around him like maybe when he is playing well. I agree.

The problem is with him playing well being hit or miss. I thought you were saying that the players rally around him no matter what. That clearly is impossible to know for sure and even harder to believe if you watch the games, the faces, teh effort in comparison to him runing the offense and limiting his mistakes to him completely subverting all effort by laying ahuge steamer out on the field in EVERY SERIES!

They are not behind him IMO. What they say and what they do are two different things.

And Peppers is not gonna put fear in anybody's mind this year who suits up against the Panthers.

No but I see who's driving it.

riiiiggggghhhhtttttttttttttttttttttt....

Lets get "Cantler" and start him over Delhomme who even though CAN fug IT ALL UP still has the respect of the players and who has lead this team to the playoffs or kept us in the mix until the last week of the season his whole starting carreer here. Instead you want the kid who is crying like a bitch because he was "insulted"... Thats the way to build some winning chemistry.

smartttttttt......

Good grief. Gantt has more credibility than all of us put together. Like it or not, that's the truth.

payroll =/= credibility and in many cases it can be argued to be the exact opposite. In my opinion the two words cannot coexist anywhere outside of the medical field.

..especially in the media!

I'll take some freelance hack's opinion to task and give it due respect in the process anyday over a spoon-fed local media employee's.

who gives a sh|t what the guy says who has the best "relationship" with the team? Yo think he gets any facts? Better yet do you think he does not have the shortest leash in Charlotte because of what he is privy to?

The future man, the future.

1) We don't groom QB's. WE don't draft them. So when there's one available, we should grab them.

2) Jake has 1-2 years left. If getting a QB that could be around for a decade means not starting Jake... I'll take the 8-9 years over the 1 year or 2 Jake has left.

3 ) Cutler is young, he does have attitude issues, but it can be fixed. He has talent though, you can't give that. FYI, Jake whines more than any QB in the league almost during games.

I understand Jake probably has a good year or two left, but if that means us sucking for years after that trying to get "lucky" with that undrafted QB or vet that moves around, I'll pass.

Then you better go get 'em, don't want to anger your manager......

OOOOHHHHH You're GOOD.

I am the manager :dita:

Look- you and some others are talking out of you ass because of your personal DISLIKE for a player.

You CLEARLY are not considering the locker room implications, the player relationships and the unseen intangibles that you would lose/gain.

On paper, Cutler's big arm looks ohh soo great. But WTF do you do when his diabetic ass passes out on the field, or he throws another cry session in the locker room. I bet Denver would take John Elways "weaker arm" (cutler said he has a stronger arm than Elway) over cutler any day of the week. Throwing the football and knowing plays is'nt what wins football games.

You guys are talking out of your ass, stop it so you wont look so damn foolish.

who said he was crying like a bitch

he was lied to by his NEW coach. The relationship between a HC and a starting QB is pretty important. I think he has a legit point. They wanted to trade but couldnt and have now lied to him in effort to cover it up.

I'd want out too. the only reason they are denying wanting to trade him now is that Cassel is off the market and if they can get Cut to look like the bad guy in the media then they will save some face with the rest of the team.

You cannot take a shot at trading QB1 and miss and expect it to not come back on you.

name one place where that will fly...ONE.

you need to settle down AK....Jake is still safe...for now.

Stop making sense, you are going to blow his mind.

Some people don't understand that 10+years> 1-2

your ready to start a QB contaversy over Cutler? Cause i doubt the cry baby is willing to sit the bench, and I doubt Steve Smith would want him throwing him the ball.
