Dissapointed in the loss, excited that Newt is piling up yardage and setting team records ALREADY.

I said earlier that he would own all the Panthers passing records if he stays healthy. But we do need to get more from the running game or else Cam will end up like Jon Kitna...who is a guy that can put up crazy passing numbers but his team ends up losing anyway.

In any case, this team is a work in progress and people are expecting way too much way too soon.

People complaining about this offense must be suffering from amnesia. Sure the redzone is not good and the running game is missing, but I remember when we were last in passing and we scored 12 points a game last year.

This offense is a legitimate passing attack with great weapons at TE and with Smith back and the others improving we can score points and move the ball. Chud is the reason for all of that. He was under a huge disadvantage this year having to install an offense in a matter of weeks and go into the season with a truncated playbook and a rookie quarterback. In fact I expect they are still installing plays and different looks through the next several weeks.

Honestly, he and Shula are doing a remarkable job at this point. Sure there are always things that we need to improve on and develop but this is reallly a work in progress. We stood toe to toe with Green Bay today and matched their offense all day. Green Bay has arguably the best offense in the league and Chud matched them.

Nitpick all you want but I like this offense alot, after 2 games we are so far ahead of where I thought we would be. I think this offense will only improve from here. Lets be real here, the fact we are so disappointed that we lost is a big step forward from the anemic displays of last year.

At this rate, Cam will shatter the rookie passing record and we will still be one of the last teams in the league. Chud is making this man look great and at the same time losing us ball games. Hopefully, the way he's been calling games is part of a plan for Cam's development and not how he's going to call games during his tenure here in Carolina.
