It's the same thing they said last season before the season started. The writing on the wall was there. We played better with Luke taking snaps last year before got hurt.

keep in mind garrard has only been in the league two more years then mccown...

but yea...mccown is just as good...

oh and garrard wasn't a full time starter till 2007 either...

We agree. David Garrard WAS better, he wasn't last year, he isn't now. Is McNabb as good now as he was a few years back? People regress.

Kolb was better last week as well. And yes, the only thing that matters this season is what's happening this season. Stop living in the past. If this was years past then the Steelers would have destroyed the Ravens and the Raiders would have found a way to lose.

For this season? He got outplayed in the preseason and lost the job the same way he outplayed Byron years back and win it. What Luke has shown has been better than Dave when healthy for two years. We didn't even try to trade him.
