Too early? (plus some stats)

Well I'm clearly in the minority since literally "thousands of people" have jerseys and dress up in them for games but I would not pay anything for any jersey I'm going to dress up in for a couple hours a week.

Get a shirt, polo, sweatshirt, etc.

You can wear them outside game time you know...?

For the record there are millions of people in the UK with 'Rooney' or 'Beckham' shirts. It's generally a sign of having a particular like for that particular player, not trying to be them.

OMG Thousands of people do it?

Clearly I'm missing out.

If I go through life and avoid most things the masses are doing, I'll be just fine.

Dressing up as my favorite football player and living through him for 3 hours on a Sunday just isn't my cup of tea.

If I could only do things that thousands of people are doing once a week :daydreaming:

Wearing your favorite team's jersey as a show of support is not only cool but desirable.

Obviously the fact you don't is just another way you are not a sports fan or a Panthers fan.

And knowing who is on here, you won't get support for your ridiculous position either.

You fail again as usual.

I guess wearing a Panther polo or shirt is your effort to dress up as a Panther fan.

Ok to wrap this up as I can;t bothered with the what is clearly going to be attempts to 'get one over' another poster on here.

If anyone has a premier jersey, are the letters and number stiched, or stiched on (part print part stitch). Does the white jersey look good in person, or is it over-barring.

I use these when mucking around in the park, so I need them to have a bit of strength to them.

When I go to Dodger games I put on my blue socks, my pearly white baseball pants, my Dodger blue belt, my 27 Kemp jersey, my Dodger fitted that I've seen 145 games in, and I chew my bubble gum and pretend I don't know how to run the bases because I'm a real fan damnit and I love Kemp!!!!

People still wear Beckham???

Yeah, he's apparently trying to get a move to the French premier league. Can't believe he's only 36, seems MUCH older.

Most people have old shirts (the premier teams bring out a new shirt every other year, some every year) as they can't afford to continuously buy the latest shirt.

Goddamn, dude. You ridicule people for wearing a Newton jersey? I bet MONEY if Newton's name wasn't uttered in this thread, you wouldn't have even bothered looking past the OP.

I swear, your hatred for our QB sure is insane.

I honestly would stop trying

OMG other posters that wear jerseys are going to defend their poor decisions in life? :willy_nilly:

If I have to wear a costume to be considered a sports fan, I'd give it up in a heartbeat. I can watch the game in my jeans and non-jersey shirt and be just as good a fan as you.

That's a good one. Not a sports fan unless you dress up as your favorite character on game day.

I gave the guy sound advice.

I said go authentic because I'd heard the replicas are pooty and the colors don't match.

I even then suggested a way for him to get an authentic for cheaper than paying higher prices in the UK.

All of which had nothing to do with any player and if it did it would be construed as a positive.

I then gave my opinion and said I don't think grown men should wear jerseys.
