Week 2 BOLD predictions

You know...I don't think this will happen but what if Cam has another good game? What if he -gasp- wins? The sports world as we know it may explode. Cam is getting so much love right now that I can't imagine what it will be like if he actually matches his performance from last week. But ultimately I think we'll see a much different performance...especially if Cam gets off to a slow start.

bold??? meh.

rookie QB in his second outing after a shortened ofseason with no OTAs or minicamp going up against one of the brightest and most creative DCs in the league and defense that now is sporting a lombardi trophy?

yeah...that's a huge possibility. way to go out on a limb there.

Tramon Williams injury bodes well for us. I look for Olsen to have a good day if Cam has time to throw, Hawk sux in coverage.

true, tramon hurt his shoulder against NO plus their LB core is not know for making good drops in coverage. hopefully our TE's will exploit the middle of the field and flats.another reason why CWood plays the nickel.

• Cam Newton will throw at least three interceptions

Honeymoon’s over, Cam. Or at least, it’s back to real life for a week.

Newton had an incredible debut performance, shredding Arizona’s pitiful pass defense for 422 yards and two touchdowns. He tossed just one INT in that game, a 28-21 loss, but the challenge in front of him is about to kick up a notch.

Sure, the Packers allowed more than 400 yards passing to Drew Brees on opening night. But that’s Drew Brees. Green Bay will come after Newton with a variety of blitzes that he hasn’t seen before, and Charles Woodson will do what he can to take away Steve Smith, who had eight catches for 178 yards in the opener and was clearly Newton’s first choice.

I don't think he'll be as successful as last week but I can't see three picks. I expect to see a bit more running to keep the Packer's O off the field.

Of course Cam is going to get three interceptions in this game. It must have really kept this guy up all night coming up with that prediction...

And his prediction is based on the superficial...not on knowing for a fact.

I couldn't easily say, that Greenbay is a good team but the Panthers are hungry enough that they can pull off a victory..
