Mac Attack brought up good point on home field advantage Sunday...

That was pretty funny. I don't think TD shoulda said that though.

False. TD SHOULD have said it. i hope other players say it. I hope the fans start saying it. The fact that these imbeciles on the radio felt it was something controversial that they had to have a "heated" dicussion about proves they are no different from any other obnoxious radio douche bags whose opinion is no more valid than any of ours. The only reason they are working at some small time dumpy radio show in Charlotte is because they were either too stupid or not good enough to get a gig at any place respectable.

TD said exactly what should be said. He's also right. We expect to win this game sunday. I don't care if these cheesequeers come out with "LAST YEAR'S SUPER BOWL CHAMPS AND YOU WERE 2-14" emblazoned on their helmet. I don't care who they are. It's time this fanbase starts believing in this team again-because this team has the talent to beat anybody. THAT's what WE as a fanbase believe. Stop rolling over to Packer's fans just because they come here and you aren't bold enough to talk trash. Stop giving courtesy laughs like players to Thomas Davis, who are RIGHT in saying that we CAN win this game Sunday. And most importantly, we expect to.

I'm a PSL owner... and I'm not rich, but I would NEVER knowingly sell my seats to a fan of the opposing team.

I would give them to someone I was 100% certain was going to root for the Panthers before I would sell them to someone that was going to root for the visiting team.

If you are so hard up that you need to sell your seats to a fan of the opposing team, then you have no business having PSL's to begin with.

Agree, if you don't believe in yourself then nobody else will either.

TD said he thinks they can win this one and he's right...

I went on a couple dates with this guy last year....he was a "panthers fan". It definitely ended up not working out when I realized I couldn't hold a legit football conversation with him.

Anyways....we were texting for a little while afterwards, him trying to get another date, etc....I was with my gfs one night at the bar and randomly ran into him...super awkward. He comes up and starts talking to us, immediately asks me about the Panthers...this was about 5-6 games into the season.

I asked if he was going tot he game that wknd and he laughed and said he had sold off the rest of his tickets for the season....I said that was understandable but it better not be opposing fans...u know just kinda jkin

He laughed and said he didn't gaf....most were opposing team's fans and he didn't care as long as he was getting good $$ for them..I proceeded to yell at him and tell him he was the kind of person that made our fan base look bad and he was the reason our stadium is full of other team's fans.

Needless to say, I haven't talked to him since and don't plan on ever talking to him again. Don't you dare call yourself a fan, SIR! That. really. pissed. me. off.

Don't fuging give your tickets to opponent fans. Its stupid and just causes for more of a headache in the stadium.

Jackasses.

I don't agree with people selling their tix to opposing teams fans either, but I guess they are theirs to do with as they wish (like other poster said, Charlotte isn't exaclty the best sports town).

Blame the owner of the team too. At a game against Pittsburgh once I saw Steelers beer coozies being sold right next to Panthers coozies. Effing bullshit.

Boo, awesome job putting that douche in his place

(but you're a little skeery!!)

:D

j/k

As a Panthers fan that quietly supported the team for several years I can say that the fan base here is a bit more subdued. I don't think enough bars support our team and the most ironic thing is ( what i think is) one of the best local announcer teams. Mick and Eugene are pretty good, and it's too bad we can't have the local announcers call the game in the bars ( i think there's a delay)...a little homer action is must better than the neutral national guys. Another aspect is the tail gating, i just recently found this site and plan to stop by but typically we would just go to the games...I've just never felt like any of the pro tailgaters where inviting..mostly because of either loud music or the clickish feel or why not simply had our announcers doing a pregame (do I have to hear brick house at 10 am? 10 pm? ok). If any of the organizations just post a sign up drive for new members or welcome message, I would have dropped by...I'm not calling anyone out, just saying the pro tailgaters seem to be in competition with each other with the volume of music and not fostering a fan base to take on the true enemy at our gates...this weekend-the super bowl champions. Ok, I'm ready to get blasted but that's how it went for four years for us...
