Here's to hoping that Charles Johnson and Greg Hardy can keep Rodgers inside the box with pressure all game, and the middle of the D-line doesn't get pushed around too much.

New Orleans didn't get much pressure on Rodgers last Thursday. Before GB went on it's run last season, Rodgers had frequently gotten beat up. Who's to say it can't happen again with the right game plan?

It's one game on Sunday, not a series.

Honestly, in the "predicting a loss" thread, I said that we didn't stand much of a chance. And I still don't like our odds. However, it is possible. This thread gives another perspective and some stats to support it. I am starting to come around and like our chances against an elite team.

I don't care how any individual plays, as long as we win. Of course, I want to see Cam be efficient and play his game like only he can. I can't wait for Sunday.

Arizona was our best bet for a win in the first 4-5 weeks of the season. Now that that is down the drain, I'm not sure where our first win of the season is going to come from. Green Bay will likely not win 16 games this year and the Panthers will likely not lose 16, so there is always a chance.

Realistically, though, the only area of the Panthers that showed improvement from 2010 to 2011 is the QB position (and maybe the recievers). Everything else about this team still sucked last Sunday. Now, that improvement made a big difference, so much so that we had a chance to take the game to OT. But AZ is no GB. No way we score more than 20. No way GB scores less than 30.

Its okay. Its not like we expected to beat the Packers. But let's be honest about our chances...we are still not good. Even if Cam throws for 400 yards again (a pipe dream for Fantasy owners) we will still lose.

I love the Panthers, but I also try not to make a habit out of decieving myself.

We have a completely new scheme that was installed in record time.....realistically.....we have no clue what these guys can do. Week 1 of the NFL isn't going to tell you what anyone really is.

everyone brings up the fact that zona has a terrible secondary because they have 2 rookie corners starting. arizona does have adrian wilson and kerry rhodes at safety though, both are excellent safeties vs the run and pass. also nobody knows really how good peterson is, he could be a very capable starter already. remember, revis is quoted as saying that smith was the hardest person he's had to cover. and he had been covering TO, moss and andre johnson...

As a sports bet guy... until the Packers fail to cover a spread... you ride them. It is more likely that the Packers cover the -10 than we upset. Trust me. They're the world champions. This isn't a -2.5 home spread
