Any updates on Darius Butler?

He is the third CB on the depth chart and I didn't pay any attention to see if he even played. Does anyone have practice updates or anything. Does he look good? I know he is still learning the D but is there potential for him to be the #2?

I don't mean take it but in the nickel let Butler play the outside and Captain play the nickel. Rivera said that is where Captain is best. I want that basically so Godfrey can stay at safety rather than running 3 safeties on the field.

Yeah my concern comes from the fact that Pugh got abused.

He was active for the game, so I would imagine he got some snaps. The Cards had some 4 WR sets, so he must have been on the field. He did not get his name called, so that can only be a good thing when talking about CBs. Normally when you get your named called is because you got burnt.

Agreed. Pugh didnt have too good of a game, his play also made me wonder about butler lol.

According to Butler's twitter he said he got in on special teams but didn't get in on defense. Hoping to get more involved @ practice this week.
