Endzone Celebrations = Lame

Cam's endzone celebration wound up costing the Panthers 23 yards. Instead of having Mare kick the ball out of the endzone and the Cardinals start on the 20. They had a return to the 43.

The Cardinals scored a TD on that drive.

So while some of you may like the celebration, it did wind up hurting the team.

They would have scored that touchdown from 99 yards away - terrible example. I don't disagree that a 15-yard penalty is never a good thing, but don't make it sound like it was the difference between a TD and a punt.

A 15 yard penalty always costs the team. It's sloppy and undisciplined football.

I didn't like the penalty either, but you can't blame the TD on Cam.

On the drive following the penalty, we stopped the Cardinals on a 3rd and 11. Unfortunately, there was a penalty on Thomas Davis for illegal contact, giving Arizona a first down.

So if you are going to assign blame, you could just as easily blame Thomas Davis.

I like when a player scores and respectfully hands the ball to the ref. Just like i like the crunch of autumn leaves, the smoothness of throat lozenges, the seam in my slacks and free parking at the diner on sundays.

You know, the simple pleasures which are way better than those wisenheimer football players and their newfangled fancy schmancy touchdown celebrations
