its for the fans' entertainment. no biggie

but no lets make everybody do the Jeff King and soar awkwardly six inches in the air and spike the ball, arms flailing, attempting to maintain some semblance of balance and poise, looking for all the world like an autistic midget trying to dunk

BUT ITS RAW PASSION derrrrrp

Not a fan of every TD celebration, but some of the really innovative ones are cool, even if there are pre-planned.

I always loved when Walls would spike the ball and then pretend to shoot it. Or Moose's between the legs with the ball. Never got old

And a few of Smitty's 2005 celebrations were classic...

-Using the ball to swordfight against the Bucs

-Rowing the boat against the Vikes after the whole "Love-boat" fiasco

-Doing the snowangel after scoring at the Meadowlands in the playoffs

-Sliding down the field goal (firemen's) pole in Chicago the following week in reference to the Great Chicago fire. And boy did he ever torch them that night.

Hard to believe anyone wouldn't have liked those.

I wasn't that impressed with the Cam air-guitar though. Wished he would saved the Lebron type celebration for a real game. But didn't hate it either. As long as they are scoring, I am happy

All the hard work they put into this game....i have no problems with a celebration...hell half of us here fail to celebrate enough when good things occur in our lives...it shows they are aware of the good event and loving it. It also shows they have planned to score they had so many thoughts of scoring they eventually manifested it into reality....they score before they scored....i have no issues

Just let the guys have fun. Why do we even care so much?? I hate all the anti-celebration rules.

A couple of times Chad Ochocinco had me rolling on the ground laughing.

Sometimes they are lame but just let the guys have fun. This nostalgic romanticized idea that "it is a team game and these celebrations undermine that" is bullpoo. The only people who think that are fans. The players love it.
