Server Issues...

Is it like a shared server, if so no thanks. Did that years ago, won't ever again.

I know what you're talking about and it's nothing like that. Think of it as buying a slice of a gigantic machine that can feed you resources(cpu, memory, disk) on the fly. Cloud is a pretty generic term and is misused a lot, but I'd look into it if I were you. The huddle seems to be running pretty well in the last couple of years but I think you could save yourself a lot of headaches.

Ugh, don't trust the cloud, if you have the ability to keep your own hardware do so.

I own a small LLC Website design and Network Security company. It's just my personal preference to have everything in house. I advise all my clients on the pro's and con's of both however and allow them to pick solutions that fit their needs.

Those are two vastly different statements. So while informing your customers of the pro's and con's you say 'ugh, don't trust the cloud'?

I work for a company that has a SaaS environment used by fortune 1000 companies. We have our production, QA and UAT deployed in AWS. There's multiple layers to security(which I'm sure you're aware of) and as long you know what you're dealing with there's zero security risk compared to conventional environments.
