eh, not really just one game b/c he's been on the roster for 2 years (he's also kind of old for a corner). they know exactly what he is (not) capable of. this just means he was much closer to being cut than anyone suspected before rosters were finalized.

Darius Butler was benched, then cut - but we're okay with that waiver claim and not this one?

Ras-I Dowling took care of that, also, he's had better games. Why not get a YOUNG guy that was regarded as one of the top CB's of his draft and was let go? There's no risk either. He's got talent, more than Sapp. Also The Hoodie can make crazy cuts like that, no one else in the league would get away with the stuff he does.

disagree that sapp is a starting caliber corner. he's also old. if he were younger i'd say yeah pick him up, but if he were he prob wouldn't have been cut. nolan carrol wasn't much better last night, but he remains on the roster since he is 24
