For those who play Madden since it was mentioned earlier, Fields is a 77 and Wells is an 81.

asking what's wrong with harris is no different from asking what's wrong with the rest of the list of veterans being overlooked.

the reason given for signing fields...they wanted someone who could practice every day.

Wow, let's base our opinions off of Madden ratings. Give me a break. You people are upset because they didn't bring in a player with big name that used to be good. Our coaching staff and front office are the people that watched them try out and did all of the studying on them. I trust their professional opinion way better than what any fan thinks they know. Which is usually very little. We didn't need anything but a servicealbe OL back up and another rotation guy on the D-line. We have to let the young guys play. Their experience this year will be great and with Edwards back next year things will be looking up.

whoever they are they can't be worse than what we already have.

people need to quit acting like we're going to get a ngata or suh. these guys are unsigned for a reason. if they were good enough teams wouldn't mind paying them a full years salary.

After doing a bit more research on Wells, he seems like a good fit. He has played both guard and right tackle, and we do need depth there.

Guess we just have to trust them on Fields, but it is hard to believe he was the best available.
