I could be wrong, but I think Zod actually means that if they bring someone in it will likely be a promising young guy with the right attitude. Not some old guy who is a name to please the crowds yet offers nothing more than the youngsters.

Technically, Rivera said yesterday the spots would be filled as of about four hours ago.

Contracts may not be finalized yet.

they still could have signed them or are working on it. there is a chance that they are still deciding what to do.

no reason to get anxious right now. as long as the guy is here by practice tomorrow he should be good to go on sunday. i'd even push that back to thursday if necessary.

No need to emphasize any words, I'm just saying that with Rivera having such high expectations out of his team; There's no reason in hell would he consider this a wash of a season.

I agree with both strategies.

I think that is fuging stupid. Some people go way to far I agree. But most fans are talking about bringing in a player with some game exp. and can help the rookies pick up the system. You can't tell me that their is no DT out there that can't hold up better then FUa can right now.

I have no doubt we will sign someone at DT, if for no other reason then we need another warm body at that position.

Look at the way we have been bringing in cast offs from other teams etc. We are quite prepared to bring in several guys to see who shows the most and then boot out the others.

Are the 'vets' going to be better than another young guy in rotation? Possibly, might help them, but I wouldn't fool myself into thinking that the vets are going to play any better. These guys have been bit part players for some time now and teams aren't prepared to guarantee their salaries otherwise they wouldn't be on the street.

In all those other position we brought a young player in. We already had a vet. WR #89 Cb Gamble we have nobody in the DT position like that.

You can't tell me that right now Kemo couldn't hold his spot better then Fua. Fua is not ready right now he is not big enough to do what they are asking him to do. He is suppose to demand double team blocks he is getting crushed by one person right now. We are trying to replace Ron Edwards for 1 year. Who is better to do that a older vet or another young guy?
