Jon Beason: The response

ok, I will be drug out into the street and shot for this but. Is it time to start looking for a new MLB via draft? Beason is a great player, but this is a significant injury. Carolina will only get to the SuperBowl with players that can stay healthy.

ever heard of Dan Connor?

My favorite part of his comments was the sentence about building something special here. I don't think he was just saying it to say it. I think he believes it, I think Smith believes it and I think the rest of our core players believe it which is why they all resigned long term (yeah im sure the money helped). If we want to build through the draft that's fine, but I think a lot of quality free agents are going WANT to come play here.

the image on my phone is me and Beason when I had the chance to meet him at Dan Morgan's restaurant two years ago. Very approachable guy, friendly and talks to you like he knows you.

I'm disappointed we won't be seeing him flying around the field wrecking havoc this season, but I expect the "Beast" to fully recover and get back to kicking ass next year.

Speedy recovery, #52!!
