Im talking bout the jersey sales, the national attention we're getting, and our QB winning over our fanbase very quickly once he plays. All things I mentioned in November of last year when I first suggested we drafted him.

Most people who prejudged him are. Id also add very insecure and fearful as well. :D

Trust me, my optimism is tempered. But after the last two and a half years you can't blame people for being excited. I have been on the 4-5 win train all along and I am still on it. However, we are going to be a tougher out for teams than I imagined and Cam has a lot to do with it.

I'd like to think that most people felt the same way about Jimmy Clausen and any rookie QB, ever. There's a huge unknown when it comes to rookie QBs, much less throwing them out there in the first game. I was unsure of how good he was going to be, I'm happy he's doing well.

True. I'm excited. I was downright giddy on the long Steve Smith touchdown, reminded me why I still watch the team. ;)
