I'll be the first to admit that due to lack of coverage, and lack of time to pay attention, I don't know much about college players. I have heard lots of talk though about possible Curry, and still lots of talk about Crabtree, even with Whosyourmomma in Seattle now. We'll see. I am pretty sure this deal had lots to do with $$$ as Tatupu and Hill both have big contracts and Peterson wasn't in the mood to negotiate his. Will be interesting to see how this pans out I suppose.

I don't think it's money, as Redding has a fairly nice sized contract himself.
