Thousands die every day in tragic circumstances and yet people are flipping out about someone trying to lighten up the situation (the jokes in this thread).

I don't see you all going crazy about the thousands who die in Africa every day due to a whole list of factors.

Anyway, my point is merely that if it isn't something too crude then there is no need to address the joke.

I could be wrong, but I think that people killed in auto accidents which includes quite a bit by drunk drivers is one of the highest causes of death in this country.

Methinks E-9 was simply pointing out the different reactions for Panther and non-Panther misdeeds, not making a "joke" per se.

i remember taking a stance against him and driving drunk in general and getting blasted by people all over the place in here.

btw...i hope that no one is seeing jarrett's being lucky because he didn't get in worse trouble. he's lucky he didn't kill anyone. so is anyone who pulls this crap.

you are onto something else by saying to keep the drinking at home, by the way. there is no reason to try it....ever. if you are going to be out and drinking much at all, make sure you have someone who hasn't been driving you home.

that's the way i took it. double standard at play many times.
