Vote for rookie of the week....

Donald LaFell

Your argument is invalid as someone said before that Cam BROKE records and scored THREE touchdowns. And he did HELP HIS TEAM WIN, just no one else did and so we lost. And yes it is a slap in the face to Cam and you go out of your way to be an ass telling us you voted for Cobb. What did you expect would happen?

You realize that part doesn't make sense right?

The problem is you take everything too personal. So i didn't vote for your favorite person in the world. Without looking at the results i'm sure i'm not the only person who voted for Cobb. Its not a slap at Cam. Cobbs tied a record and scored two touchdowns IN HELPING HIS TEAM WIN. So go ahead and neg me if it makes you feel better. But i'm not going to vote for him or any other player just because he plays in Charlotte.

If he throws two ints and wins a game i'll be more than happy. I hope he throws ints and wins football games all season long.

Cam did all these things better than Cobb. We may have not of won, but he certainly helped us more than anyone else.

Question to Greg Olsen on Cam being upset about the loss:

"I don't know why. If it wasn't for him we wouldn't have been that close"

You're a hater, a nuisance, and it's gone on long enough.

It makes perfect sense. He HELPED us to win the game. No one else did. So we lost. You can help build a house, but if no one else helps you it won't get done. Cam did his part. Everyone else didn't.

You can't help a losing team win. That directly contradicts.

also, I'm not going to neg rep you for voting cobb. I think you are incredibly wrong, but you have the right to your opinion.

just because the TEAM didn't win, does not take away from Cam's INDIVIDUAL performance.

I mean the dude threw for over 420 yards in his first game EVER as a pro... He put the team in a position to win every time he took the field, it's not his fault he doesn't play defense.

would you have voted for Cobb if the saints scored on that final play then got the 2-pt conversion? his team wouldn't have won, and it would not have been due to his effort, he played lights out, but the team would have lost so he wouldn't deserve your vote?

I just think it's crazy to put the entire loss on cam's shoulders when he played lights out the entire game, and put the team in a position to win, even though the defense and special teams let him down.

and that is why i think you are wrong.

He didn't TRY. He actually DID his part to help. "Doing" is more definitive than "trying". But whatever. Such a silly argument.

We lost. By definition, no one helped the team win. Brees had a great game Thursday. The Saints lost, so he didn't help his team win.

I agree with this. I think Grits is putting too much emphasis on winning as a team when this is for an individual award. But he is entitled to his opinions so I'm not gonna bitch at him for it.

Cam had the most impressive rookie performance as far as individual performances go, but obviously the role some other players had in their wins were pretty major too.

Cam's the easy vote for me since the question isn't about which player contributed more to their team's win or something, but which was the top rookie as an individual award, so.

I voted for Cam, many times. Who gives a fug if some "Panther" fans can't give a Panther rookie a little love for playing lights out. I guess when the day comes and this kid actually becomes the winning QB he has great potential to be, it's going to be really hard for the haters to choke on the crow.
