Returning a kick is far less impressive than throwing for 400 yards with a qb rating floating somewhere around 100. They both were rookies in their first game it's a moot point.

It is true. I'm not sure what logic you build from stating one play is more relevant and more impressive than an entire performance of plays. If one significant play that leads to a win was more relevant then Patrick Peterson should have been the run away winner.

Now if Cobb done 400 yards worth of punt returns and catches, along with three touchdowns, and a record I may concede this one.

I'm honestly thinking that newton has more than one record here. What is the longest pass in a rookie debut? Only source I've been able to procure is Jay Cutlers 71 yarder.

108 kick return has been done, rookie QB throwing for 422 yards in his NFL debut has not...

Let me show the original post I responded to. Now my response was.................. NOT TRUE. ....... Never been done by a rookie .... Nor has it ever been by a rookie making his debut.. Now that you know what I am talking about, please continue to tell me how it's true? Please pay attention before you post something you have no idea what you are talking about. Also, if you go back to previous posts, you will see me say ( several times) that I was at the game last week and I happen to be an AZ fan, however, I may have witnessed the single most impressive rookie performance in the history of the NFL. And that everyone including the NFL should be ashamed that Cam did not win after his performance.

I just wanted to voice in on this big hate on Cam thing that some are doing, I was doing the same thing about Rodgers and I was always saying lets see him do it for a few years before we claim him as elite. I have now eaten my crow and admitted to being wrong but don't hate on a guy because he has his opinion, isn't that what these boards are for? Just imagine if you had a forum of everyone saying the same thing, wouldn't that be pretty boring to read? BTW Cam will be coming back to reality when he has to play a real defense this week. Heck anyone of you posters could have thrown for 300 yards against that defense.

As far as the topic, did you have any doubt who was going to win after all the Packers are truly America's team not those wanna be Cowboys.

I'm not a panther hater nor a Cam hater, I am just stating that people shouldn't rip on a guy because he has a different opinion than others. If you stop over at the packers forum i'm on you will see I am saying the Panthers will keep this game close. Cam will not have Steve Smith running wide open by 30 yards like last week. I was more referring to the any one of us could throw for 300 yards against that defense. that's a bullshit comment and you know it...get the fug out of here, you want to say that our qb isn't that good that's fine none of us think he's gonna go for 400 again tomorrow but to discredit what he did last week by saying someone who never played football could go for 300 against the cards d is weak bro....
