That's what we have Sunday in Super Bowl Champion Green Bay visiting Carolina.

Surprisingly this matchup is quite common. Previous years saw SB winners vs team with worst record:

Saints vs Rams

Steelers vs Lions

Giants did not face worst team

Colts vs Raiders.

The common thread in all these matchups? The SB winner won all the games of course.

Going to take quite an effort by the Panthers to buck this trend.
