Chud's Offense

We have more talented running backs then all of those teams combined. And none have big time wrs. Outside of jackson, colston, and Jennings. Qb is all important and Cam has the chance to be scary good

And Driver, Welker, Gates, Moore, Henderson, Ochocinco, Branch, and Finley...

I would. When Jake was a passing threat our run game was one of the best in the league. Once the passing game is a threat I fully expect them to return to 2008 form.

You would, but you're wrong.

However, the beauty of it all is you don't actually need to have the best at everything to win or even go all the way. Even the Perfect get beaten.....by a team whose QB would run like a little girl if he met Cam Newton pissed off in a bar.

Just having a balanced team is awesome for us, considering how long we've been one dimensional. People put too much on having the best at whatever position, or side of the ball. I just wanna win. And go all the way. And to do that, there's a lot of other things that come into place.

But one of the keys of getting there is balance. Having that helps tremendously. But we also need to balance our offense with defense, and right now, that part is of concern.

they've been running from the shotgun for years. most of the elite QBs have been doing it a lot recently and last year there were quite a few of th best that were doing it on over 50% of passing downs. peyton did it in 76% of his. we're going to be seeing a lot more of it this year and going forward. it just makes sense that we will see newton using it. it's the best place for a QB to run a passing play. his taking snaps from the shotgun isn't because he's bad at taking them from under center. teams have just found that QBs do better taking it from there.

also, teams have been using the spread for years.

the year the pats set all those records? spread offense.

the year the cards went to the superbowl? spread offense.

new orleans saints high powered offense? a spread

mike vick looking like a real QB last year and eagles having one of the best offensive years they've had in a while? eagles abandoned the WCO and ran a spread.

packers beating the steelers in the superbowl last year? spread offense.

Ive been preaching the spread / pass first to set up the run for years now.

Smash-mash football is a thing of the past.

Gates and finley are tight end so got Olsen check

Then come on with the rest of those guys all way past prime or a system guy (I.e. the qb makes them good, how'd lafell look Sunday?) except welker who is a slot guy.

Isn't balanced what I said? The passing game will improve the running game and we wont have to rush for 200 yards a game to win. Everyone agrees the defense needs work

Every other dynamic qb has a weaker cast of rbs then we do that's all im saying.

Grant and Starks, woodhead and green-ellis, tolbert and Matthews, Ingram and Thomas, Stewart and Williams who do you want?

I want a running game better than 74, including QB rushing?

Any running back, or running back duo that can rush for more than 56 yards?

56!

422 passing vs 56 yards rushing is NOT balance.
