Making People Eat Crow

Great game by the kid, but are you willing to call him a bust if he struggles next week? Week 3?

I'm not eating crow, if anything, I'm again right on target with Newton, just look at my season predictions.

All of you who lowballed him should be eating crow.

Also, anyone wanting anyone else to eat crow after one game against one of the worst teams in the league is setting themselves up for failure.

Barring injury, you can't pull him. Can't cant can't can't CAN'T :nonod:

Even if it means taking some nasty lumps, you have to let the team and Newton grow together or you risk screwing him up.

I think our coaching staff is smarter than that.

You were nowhere in the vicinity of on target with Newton.

Pathetic attempt at finding something else to attempt to troll over.

You are not worth the seconds of my day that I spend reading on of your posts.....to IGNORE with you.

MadHatter is way more fun when you agree with him :p

What a silly, baiting, and absurd question..

Excuse me but if Teeray states that he can't wait till he develops and he played this good with all his issues, wouldn't that be the definition of floor?

If he's being sarcastic and trying to troll/claim victory after one game against a very poor Arizona team, wouldn't he have to admit defeat after each bad performance?

Just trying to get some background.

If it's one of those "awesome if he plays well, super if he plays decent, and pretty good if he's bad" situations, please continue.

Cam might not pass for 400 yards again this season, but that would be teams pulling back in the blitz, focusing on pass coverage, and opening up the running game.

Exactly. Defenses can't just stack the box and blitz the game. Cam has showed you might have to respect his arm more than his legs. This was his first game in the NFL. Who knows about next week, but yesterday was an AMAZING performance. As for the outcome of the game, defense and special teams made a few big mistakes. O-line needs to do better with protection penalties.

I think he played pretty damn good being a rookie, only having 5 weeks in the system,no otas or minicamps, being blitzed non stop yesterday, by being the typical run first pass later type of qb out of college, with no running game to help him out. If you dont agree with that trd then i dunno what would make you happy.
