Can't wait to see cam throw for 300 and 2 td's on GB and hear what the media has to say? They are trying so hard not to give Cam credit or cover the Panthers Sam bradford was all over ESPN last year and how great he is. Cam comes out 1st game and breaks a RECORD and all he gets is "they used half the field" " cam mad simple throws" "they're not dynamic at the end". Fug ESPN (IT'S ALL ABOUT PANTHERSMAFIA#)

Matt Ryan had half the game Cam did and was declared a Super Bowl QB after week 1. :dupe:

You can go berate Merril here: http://twitter.com/#!/merrilhoge

There's a good 7 or 8 tweets taking shots at Newton prior to yesterday's game on the front page alone. After the game? Total silence.

What. A. Doucher.

Only talking head who I've seen that doesn't have the balls to man up and admit he had no idea what he was talking about.

That's because he isn't a man, hes a little girl, If i ever met him I'd hit em in the face and give him another concussion.

why does the first throw to smith not count? compared to our busted coverage on jeff king, smith was well covered :P. seriously go look at the replay, smith wasnt THAT open, and if clausen was in there, theres a distinct possibility that play results in a pick. not only all this but this play showed that newton goes through his progressions. at the start of the play it looked like smith would have been doubled up, but the cb blitzed and cam put it where the blitz came from.

i dont get why people discredit plays like this from the quarterback. I know its not as visually stunning as watching peyton or rodgers lob a perfect pass between a lb and a safety, but isnt finding the OPEN man a much more valuable trait than being able to throw a perfect ball? decision making has and always will be the most vital part of being a quarterback.
