I understand that we do not have much cap room right now, but if we can work out a deal to rid ourselves of Peppers then we should definitely give Holt an offer if he is still available.

problem is the development of Jarrett and long term.

Holt would be great for next season, but not long term.

They need to begin to develop Jarrett. He was a second round pick and they need to get him more involved. He could be our number 2 in the near future and they need to get him ready for that. Holt is a fantastic player, but how much do they need another receiver when they are arun first offense? They need to concentrate on the offensive and defnesive lines and leave this alone.

I'm not jumping on the Torry Holt bandwagon either, but he is a HOF receiver. But all those who are going crazy going "Hell No", have forfeited the right to complain about our receiving corps no matter what happens, try to remember that. I'll go with what we got, but if I see the, "We wouldn've been great if only we'd had another receiver" threads, I'm gonna go off...

Moose's downfield blocking > Holt's downfield catching.

It was crucial on a lot of steve smith's catches, Double Trouble runs, and if you remember, they ran a play in the saints game where he pretended to block and then caught a touchdown.
