QB- Cam was pretty amazing but as Deon mentioned he needs to learn when to step up in the pocket and make a throw and not try to take off.

RB- You can blame the o-line if you want to but D-Will looked horrible. I think Chud might need to learn to just go with Stew in that type of situation. It lookef like he could have got going of left in for a while.

TE- not as involved today as. I thought they would be but they were being focused on early. Both Shockey and Olsen were light years ahead of what we have seen. I really like this duo.

WR- Smith was amazing and LeFall really broke out. Naanee was solid too. Get catch early on but should of had more.

OL- I actually thought the oline played great in pass protection. The run blocking was lacking but I really put a lot of that was on DWill too. Note: our RBs and oline has always struggled with rushing the ball agaisnt 3-4 defenses it seems.

DL- Johnson and Hardy look like the new Peppers and Rucker. And while the DT struggled they were very solid for two 3rd round rookies.

LB- with all the worried in the DL and the secondary I was expecting more out of this group. they looked sloppy to me but I felt that when Conner came in he looked great.

Note2: anyone else think the defense actually looked better when they went into a 3-4 alignment? No way to make that the base defense but I wouldn't mind seeing more of it.

DB- Gamble played good and Martin had a good game but too many dink and dunk completions for my liking.

ST- nothing great nothing bad IMO. and I swear to god PP called for a fair catch. Improvement is needed.

Overall I think you give this team an entire preseason and a healthy Edwards on the dline and that's a win.

How do you not support any player on your team that hasn't done anything wrong? Let alone one that has done everything right and had the BEST ROOKIE DEBUT EVER?

I have been supportive of Cam ever since he was drafted here. Was I exited about it, no. But I supported him, never bashed him after the draft(before the draft, that's a different story). I was saying that I wasn't going to just crown him King before I see anything in a real game, but by all means everyone thought it meant I hated the guy. Trust me, I think he can be great and he proved it today.

It's debatable if Cofield would have come here, and we did sign Edwards at Dt, not Hurneys fault he got injured
