We Didn't Have Any FG Attempts

I said in chat I thought it was weird that the score was 21 instead of 9

That is funny but for real, we came to a crashing halt at their 40 yard line several times, it could have been a blow out in our favor.

Too many 0 or negative yards on 1st down with those runs right up the middle.

Needed to use screens and slants more vs that style of defense.

I can't believe that we didn't offset their constant blitzing with more screens or at least some draws or quarterback sneaks. Especially down around the goal at the end of the game. That was one thing that worries me. I felt like we did a good job of picking up their blitzes for the most part...seeing as they sent the house almost every play. But we should have had some plays to combat that constant blitzing other than making Cam stand in there and make a play on his own. He was incredible today...but I felt needed some help in various areas. Looks like we got our QB...imagine if we would have ran some screens or something more to catch them offguard...we would have blown them out. With a few more peices to our puzzle...DL...some form of a running game again...we will be a force to deal with. It was a good start...let's see where it goes from here.

Imagine being: deangelo..... Come on, just give me the ball, its 3rd and I wont lose yards....

Imagine being the o line.... All we have to do is block long enough for a short dump off so we can stay in fg range.....

I personally watched mare in warm-ups and he leg from 59, so why did we keep calling pass plays while we were in fg range?
