ok, my excitement got the best of me. I had to vent. Best loss this team has had in a long time. We didn't roll over, we didn't play too conservative and I was excited to see our offense produce. Didn't want to offend any of us real Panther fans.

Im excited too man, but your point still stands. Anyone who isn't yet sold on the kid needs to just dip out. Not saying he's gonna do this every week, but its only gonna get easier for the kid from here on out. He's going to adapt to the speed and what the D throws at him and he's going to use his freakish athletic ability to burn people in more ways than one. What we witnessed was a guy throw for 400 plus yards while still not being used to the NFL. Cam Newton is going to be something the NFL rarely sees.

Cam has waaaaayyyy too much positive history behind him for this to be a fluke. You're right, its ONE game...ONE game of his future, incredibly productive career.

Eh, can't win all of them, but damn, Cam comes as close as any one. He'll get PLENTY of wins in his NFL career. That you can bank on. He won at the JUCO level, made elite level players look JV at Auburn and is already showing he's ahead of the curve.

Keep in mind there were also "dumb blind nuthuggers" who called him King before he even played a real game, so it can go both ways.

I think we all can be glad we have a franchise QB that looked nothing like a rookie in his debut.

I agree there were nuthuggers too, but most of them were typical troll like people who were here for cam. Unlike haters who clearly did not like cam for reasons outside of the football field and felt the need to justify every fault he had before ever getting ONE game to see what he could bring. Sure againest GB he prob won't look good but at least we know he can play and the people whos only justifiable hate was his preseason completion % can shut up now because we know what he is capable of.
