Beason Situation "Dire"...

Relax a bit before freaking over this. If it's just a partial tear and not a complete rupture it's 2-3 months of recovery and 2-3 months of rehab to get back to 100%. It's a HUGE concern if it's a rupture though. If it is the case, continue freaking out.

Exactly.

No one said his Achilles' is destroyed or if it has a slight tear in it.

Really stupid of the training staff to let him play. And we don't need to wait on the MRI. They knew immediately that it was torn and took him off the field while saying he wasn't coming back in the game. They can tell if it's torn by examining it. They already know.

Beason is never in danger of losing his job. He shouldn't have been out there.

That's only half the reason. The other part is putting these guys fresh off injuries back on the field. Most of the time they reinjure and make it worse than it was to begin with. We need to learn how to accept that a player needs to be out for a period of time. I bet we could have had Beason miss two more weeks and be fine. Now he might not eve be the same player. Hope we learn from this. I really hope we do.

I think he rushed back.

I also think any time a player looks like they were shot by an unknown person hidden in the stands and goes down like that......it is usually bad.

Oh well....we will miss his leadership but Connor is a decent replacement. Good nose for the ball.
