74 yards worth of penalties and horrible play calling at the end of the game. yeah, awesome, cam did well, and he still has room to grow and learn. i however id not expect to lose this game in this fashion. i expected a 3 interception, not offense night. what i did not expect is that we would lose this game because we are the most fundamentally unsound team in the league. no excuses for the poor special teams play either.

a loss is a loss, but rivera has A LOT of developing to do, and no it's not just cam newton.

      I find it more like now that I have been forced to watch Young so much it isn’t as much of a shock to my senses.   Desensitized they call it.   For real, it just looks normal almost now. Where the first game of 2023 I wasn’t sure what I was looking at it was so out of bounds for NFL type play. I literally couldn’t make sense of what I had seen vs Atlanta that first week.

      Lynch in SF. Great is subjective but he has done pretty well there.

      Sure, except Stroud has the ability to stretch the field with deep passes. He did that often last night with ease, but couldn’t connect on many due to being flustered by the defense. BY9 gets flustered and can’t throw screens, let alone even think about any deeper passes. Stroud would’ve changed the franchise and done more with the situation last year. My thought at least.    the hope is that last year showed tepper that he needed to step back from football decisions. There’s a positive in most situations and maybe we’ll see a new tepper in the near future.
