"IF" he ruptured an Achilles then he is likely done for this season and possibly the next. The achilles tendon is very difficult to reattach and will limit his ability to plant in the future

This would be one of the few times I wouldn't mind seeing a player give up on the play, it was going to be a TD no matter what and he gave it his all to try and speed up.
