Dre' Bly?

is everyone truly satisfied with Marshall, Gamble and WILSON??

considering the money that we have to use and the lack of value that bly has...yes. can't afford to experiment with him and even if we had the cap space, i wouldn't want to.

The fact he based his argument on the fact that Bly was horrible bc Denver had no pass rush....which is different from the Panthers how????

oh and I hate Bly

Broncos in 2008, 26 sacks - Panthers in 2008, 37 sacks... 37 > 26.

So basically, your argument is based on "I hate Bly".

weak excuse for him sucking.

results wouldn't be stellar in any situation for him.

he isn't any better than who we have as a CB1 or 2 and he would be too expensive for a #3. why waste very limited cap space on an experiment? very little upside to this guy.

i swear no one would even notice him if it wasn't for his name.

Yeah, we need to sign Joe Interception and Bob Shutdown.

I gotta question. CJ Wilson has been with us for 2 seasons heading into #3. No one seems to mention anything about cutting him. That gives me the indication that they think he is progressing well. Is he ready to be #3 corner. I think Richard Marshall will fill in fine as #2.

My question is? Would we hold onto a guy like CJ Wilson for special teams only? Seems to me we are keeping him to move up.

most likely but CBs are something that they have been checking out at pro-days. it wouldn't be unusual for us to keep players for just special teams. we do that every year.

we had karl hankton for 6 years and all he did was play special teams. even though he was listed as a WR, there was very little chance of him ever seeing time on the field as one.

True, I kinda believe CB is like WR on the offensive side of the ball. It isn't a position most rookies dominate at. (though there are more rookie CB that do well over rookie WR). I tend to believe they were grooming him and now Marshall will move into the starter spot and CJ Wilson will be given the opportunity to move into the Nickel spot. Agreed?
