During the preseason I felt Clausen wasn't getting a fair opportunity. After today, I will fully admit that I was wrong about Newton and I'm really stoked about the future of this franchise. The way Smith made sure to get the ball to Cam after his first career TD pass really shows how much his teammates are behind him. Breaking Peyton Manning's rookie record for passing yards in week 1 was impressive, but breaking it by 120 yards is amazing. This guy is gonna be special, and eventually, so will the franchise. So please, no more Luck threads, we don't need him! Proud to be a Panther fan!
