Olsen 4th Down Play

I thought ALL scoring plays were to be review, obvious or not.

Doesn't fall under that rule because he was ruled out of bounds and didn't score - rule only applies to plays that result in points. That said, I agree that it should have been reviewed from the booth.

Just got a text from the football coach at my old high school. Said he rewound and watched the 4th down pass to Olsen frame by frame and it looks as if his elbow landed inbounds. Anyone see this? Can anyone rewind and/or post it on here?

Doesn't matter now, just thinking.

I can CONFIRM this claim... I DVR's it and it definitley appears his elbow is in...

I cant zoom in though. It was close enough to have been reiviewed in that type of game situation though!

Maybe, by a very small window. There was a defender running right underneath him. Cam could have maybe gunned it in there or easily thrown an INT.

I thought he should have given Olsen the jump ball opportunity myself but what's done is done Cam played a hell of a game either way. He in no way is the reason we lost. Shitty o-line play and blitzing in poor situations are the reason we lost...
