Our defensive front four (minus CJ and Hardy) sucked poo, our OLine couldn't block anyone, Beast hurt, D-will sucked. However our saving grace CAM NEWTON. Makes me excited for the future.

Yes, easily the most excited I've been after a loss. I never felt nervous on any throws, which was a far cry from last year. I know its only 1 game, but I feel Cam will be our answer at QB for the next 10 years.

Carolina lost because three plays: the two failed blitzes resulting in TDs and the whiff on the punt return.

The defense wasn't THAT bad, considering they're still learning the system. I was expecting worse, actually. We'll only get better on defense.

What concerns me more is the running game/OL.

Great QB Play from a rookie. Nothing I would have him do different. He answered his turnover with a TD scoring drive. He was big time today. Awsome performance by him and i'm super pumped

I'm not really that mad about the blown special team play or the blitz that led to the doucet TD. We are a YOUNG team, with little to no offseason/preseason time to show up. Let's face it....judging by performances in week one, we were more impressive than the Falcons and Bucs and they have solid defenses with coordinators who have been there a while and established QB's.

Great game call by Chud. We have things to work on, but Cam answered the bell about the blitz. Blitz him and he can beat you with the deep throw. IMO, this makes us a dangerous team. If they blitz, Cam beats them deep or scrambles out. If they don't blitz, Double trouble chews up 6-8 yards every play.'

Bring on Green Bay. Not saying we will win, but we are not going to lay down either.
