Cam Newton is The Real Deal

Actually andy didnt. He was injured and gradkowski won the game. Just sayin.

He did too have a good game and he was as much part of that win as Gradkowski was... He was moving the offense very well.

Not sure what the point of this discussion is... We lost, Bengals didn't... that doesn't mean that Dalton was better than Cam, but Dalton still looked good.

Always said a lot of those doubts were "old ideas" steeped in fear. Cam is some folks "worst nightmare". He's already breaking records and exceeding expectations. This kid is the future and frankly some people were scared to death of that.

Damn KT...are you still on that "we don't want Cam because he is a black QB schtick"? It is wrong and ignorant.

There were many (myself included) who did not believe he was ready. However, that opinion was based on the type of offense he ran in college....his limited passes in college...his struggles in the preseason.

Now, he had a fantastic game and proved us all wrong today. And, I am happy as hell that he did. He was fantastic and will win a lot of games in this league.

However, you are STILL the only one on here who cares AT ALL about the color of his skin.

Please stop with the ignorant, racist comments....

Andy had a good game until he went out with an injury. Luckily for his team, they have a good backup.

Why do we need to try to belittle either of these rookies? Or any of them for that matter? It's not like Cam's the only rookie that can possibly have a good day...

Actually, the "belittling" was done by Grits since the clearly implied last statement of his "at least Andy Dalton won his game" statement is obviously "UNLIKE CAM".

So if we're going to chastise for someone belittling a performance, you can spread the chastisement a little in the other direction, brother.

And Cam looked better. That's the point of this discussion.

What does this mean? The Bengals either have a better team or were better coached today.

There shouldn't be anymore "debate."

Andy... Dalton...

I never even watched the game. So obviously you know more than I. Im not happy with a loss. I hope he can be consistent and play good. But its still nice to have a QB for a change.

53 minutes ago - by Steve Reed - Even with great game, Newton still gets down on self

Even after a throwing for a record-setting 422 yards on Sunday, QB Cam Newton was still beating himself up after the game over the missed opportunities the Panthers had Sunday. "One thing I know right now is we have to capitalize," Newton said. "When you're in the red zone you can't take the sack and you can't digress. You have to get points." Panthers RapidReports

Exactly. Gave the game away. The O-line's penalties.
