actually manning was initially considered a loser, and leaf a winner due to his early success. there were quite a few news stories that said things about how Manning was looking like the worse choice and leaf was on the right course early etc

See Teeray's post above. It's way too early to label Newton as a "loser".

If you want to go down that road, it means Rivera is a loser, Steve Smith is a loser, everyone who plays on this team or coaches this team is a loser.

Of course. I'll crown him as a guy who can give you 400+ yards 3 (or more) TDs. I think he has the potential and work ethic to become our franchise QB and maybe even a HOF QB. But I would like to see more than one game before I deem him that. I will support him as a Panther, but I won't become a nuthugger like you until I see more games where he displays his potential ;)

I agree with you both, I was just saying this is nothing new... if he goes 0-5 to start, don't be surprised if some people label him as someone who can't win, especially in the media. Frankly I think context is somewhat important, and I don't blame him for our loss tonight, so I think there's more to it than that.... whereas Manning kinda have a big hand in their early losses, lol.

Who isn't giving him credit?

Closest to that is someone saying he woulda been better if he'd won. Pretty nitpicky, but I doubt anyone other than Cam himself blames him for that loss.

I might start a band called "The Original Nuthuggers"

I'll be drums, Panther55 will be lead vocalist, blackatgrowl will be lead guitar, KT will be bass guitar (racist?), proudiddy on the keyboard. And a bunch of others that escape me at the moment can be backup singers.

Watchu think? (which also happens to be the title of our first single)

KC (at least this weekend) and Seattle may given us a run for our money as worst team in the league.

I think Arizona can be included as well. Even though they won, it took blown coverages, and a record amount of penalties for them to barely win. Once our guys get more comfortable I think we will see less of those mistakes. The Cards will still suck
