You don't get 422 yards with a shitty o-line. It just doesn't happen.

The line played pretty well, but they were coming from all directions and rushing more people than we could block.

Hangman made the pass protection AT LEAST 100% better. This is why Cam looked legit today.

meh. You don't know how much of that was Cam not getting ball out quick enough. I thought the blitz pickup was pretty good. They will get better. Keep in mind, Otah missed a ton of time and Hangman has only been with the team for a week.

Arizona threw everything at Newton and I thought they were adequate. Definitely room for improvement

You're completely right, Cam didn't hold the ball too long at all and create a lot of the pressure. You should go to the football 101 camp they have at BofA stadium for the moms.

Cam threw for over 400 yards, the line OBVIOUSLY wasn't a problem. Not to mention most lines aren't designed to hold off defenders for 7-10 seconds, ball is usually long gone by then.

I'm more disappointed in WR's not named Smith for not being able to get open and not giving Cam anywhere to go on several throws.

After the Panthers have been running all over the Cards the last few times we have played, I think Whisenhunt made it a priority to stop the run. Not that we couldn't have been better but to say it's all on the Oline is just being silly. IMO.

The Cards blitzed and stacked the line nearly every play, and they aren't nearly as good a defense as we will see.

You have to have plays to counter it, or that style of defense is what is going to beat us consistently.

Cams 400+yards and success still didn't deter them from stacking and blitzing because we didn't capitalize on several great drives. Just gotta make em pay, and we'll be fine.

Yep, I don't know how anyone could think this offense wouldn't be damned scary with just one huge WR pickup in the draft. Next year, that will happen.

And why wouldn't he? No QB in the history of the NFL has ever had as successful a debut from a passing yards stand point as Cam did today.
