Its not necessarily the win thats unrealistic, its the numbers some people are posting. He only threw 1 TD the entire preseason, but some people are predicting 4 TDs today? C'mon man. I love the panthers but this season is gonna be a learning process.

Cam Newton first game will be based on one thing, how well he can convert 3rd downs. Do that and he can win very easily today.

I see no reason to ever need to be realistic in regards to something that doesn't really impact my life.

What can I say .. the guy has me sold .. I love his approach to the game .. especially being a rookie without a training camp under his belt

No harm in guessing but it's really hard to say.

Rush for around 40.

Pass around 200.

A couple passing TDs, possible 1 INT.

Hoping for at least 50%, 55% would be much better.

In the back of my mind I am trying to be realistic though, we all need to realize that Cam still needs more time and mistakes will happen. I know we are all tired of mistakes and BS and it seems like form the past two years we have already paid our dues and we are all ready to win, but alas we'll probably have to wait a bit longer at least this time there is some promise in the equation and we will hopefully have something to look forwards to.
