I'll root for the panthers until the day I die. I just don't expect much from them this season. having low expectations makes the sting of losing hurt a little less each time. I'd sure like to be wrong and have us come out guns blazing destroying everyone, i just don't expect it to happen.

Yes the NEWton - rivERA or NEW ERA begins today. SMASH the Cardinals. A lot of people out there seem to forget the Panthers were a real good team just a couple of years ago and many of those players remain on the team. No reason they can't go out and be competitive.

I agree Gipetto! The 'How many points will Green Bay drop on us' was a crappy thread.

I guess it boils down to how people see the world though. I prefer to keep a positive outlook and hope for the best. If others don't that okay, and who knows their negativity may be have been prove to warranted.

We just won't know for a few weeks, and until then I'm going to sit back and enjoy some football. Go Panthers!
