Gentleman,

As you all know, last year was difficult. And some of you know that more than others. Every time we step on the field this year, we will not be respected. We will not be given a chance. We will have to work hard not just to get the respect of our opponents but even our fans. We let everyone down, and rightfully so we don't deserve any respect. We have to go out and earn it! And that long road back starts today. I won't say any great quote or anything inspirational. Our 2-14 record last year should be motivating enough. Every team you face this year, will doubt you and try to embarrass you. That should be enough. Everybody expects us to finish last in the division, that should be enough. And individually there is doubt, Cam is a rookie, Steve is getting old and slow, our secondary is weak, can davis and otah return from injuries, that should be enough. So lets go out there and earn that respect.
