Week 1 Green Bay looked better than the team that won the Superbowl last year.......Jerry was joking and speaking the truth. That was scary.

Ur right but maybe it was the team the GB's were playing last night.

Who am I kidding...Aaron just picked up where he left off during the Superbowl.

The Panthers better bring their "A" and every other NFC South team "A" game if they plan on keeping up with the Superbowl champs. Or play like their lives depends on it...Oh my...:D

Still feel like people were selling the aints a bit short. Obviously the super bowl champs opening the season at home would have all of the momentum, but Brees and Sproles kept them in that game right up until the end.

Again, coming off of a magical Super Bowl run, with repeat aspirations, and opening at home off of a shortened off-season on a Thursday night they were suppose to look good. They are definitely going to be one of the better teams, but I'm not ready to buy the hype that they are in some special league of their own.

it's only one week out of the schedule tho. should we just give up because the packers looked great last night?

i don't think that we are going to win that game, but i also don't think that we are going to get reamed on the scoreboard the way the saints did.

our D will play better and the only reason the packers scored so much was because the saints kept scoring. they won't have to score that much on us.

it's just one week playing against the team that won the lombardi with an injured roster. that game will be the hardest game of the season. i'm glad we're getting it out of the way early.

also the Saints blitzed too much too early. Rodgers is too good against the blitz and makes moving the ball too easy. Saints got themselves in a big hole in the 1st q. GB would not of scored as much if NO was playing defense making them run more and be more balanced (they did that too late).

Our best bet for beating the Packers is run the ball, eat up the clock and keep their offense off the field. Green Bay won last night because they dominated the time of possession and wore down the Saints defense. After half, Brees and the Saints went more to a running attack with good success.

They can be beaten but not by a team trying to outscore them like NO does. You have to keep the game more low scoring and at least equal their time of possession. Otherwise they have too many weapons and Rodgers is too good to get into a shoot out.

they also went from one extreme to another. they'd play too aggressive and then play too soft. they got eaten alive either way.

it took them too long to get things figured out and even then, i don't think they did too good a job of it.

what they did was give a smarter defensive coaching staff game tape on what not to do.
