New practice time... interesting

It's interesting to note that Rivera seems to have changed the practice time to 1 pm where Fox used to start practice around 10 am or so.

Would make sense to practice at approximately the same time you play most of your games so that your body is accustomed to working at that time of day. I know they recommend folks work out at approximately the same time of day each day under this same logic.

This could be another little change that ends up making a big difference.

If they are going to play during the hottest part of the day, then they should practice during the hottest part as well.

Yup, and if you are used to sitting in an air-conditioned meeting room at 1 pm then I'm sure it's a bit of a shock to your system on Sundays.

I'm not sure how much difference it makes with conditioning and getting used to the hot days, although it's probably some.

I think it's more of a body-clock type of thing. If you've ever seen stats on west coast teams playing early games on the east coast, it does make you think.

For WRs it could be a little signigicant. Shadows on the ball /sun location when looking back for a pass, etc. Sounds trivial, but little things are important. The game in Arizona is actually a 1 pm game out there.

True, but later to the Panther players body clocks. Just a thought I was throwing out, no idea what the reason is.
