Panthers Scouting Pat White hard

At varying times, I have referred to Donovan McNabb, Jeff Garcia, Matt Hasselbeck and Brad Johnson - among others - as overrated. What do all these quarterbacks have in common? (again, it ain't race)

Ive never seen you refer to those other QBs as just an "athlete". You basically credit the WCO with making Donovan McNabb (even though he came from an option offense at Syracuse).

While I'm at it, here's another question for you. There was an NFL player who once referred to Donovan McNabb as a "runningback who passes". Without googling, do you know who he was and what race he is?

I have no idea and could care less. Several people from NFL films in the video I posted said the same thing about Steve Young. Yet you're in here tryna convince us he got his 4200 rushing yards and 43 TDs by never leaving the pocket. LOL.

All of those quarterbacks are West Coast guys, and I have always referred to West Coast QBs as overrated. If you actually read anything that was written about QBs other than black QBs, you might have gotten it :nonod:

It was Warren Sapp. McNabb sadly responded by passing up obvious rushing opportunities and thus, losing to the Bucs in the playoffs. Sapp basically played on McNabb;s insecurities, and it worked like a charm.

(he's not the only guy Sapp's done that sort of thing to, either)

As to Steve Young (again), he's a guy who set records as a passer, but was also a threat as a runner. Young is one of the few WCO guys you won't hear me call overrated. Equating Steve Young with Michael Vick is laughable.

And as expected, you chose to misstate one of my points again, even after I predicted you'd do it. I'll take that as a concession of defeat :D

Brees must pass the ball because he does not have the ability to go out there and pick up 119 yards on the ground from the QB position. Trust if he did, he would scramble and run more (much like Steve Young). The fact is, outside of 1 season in NO, Brees prolific passing has not translated to much team success. And given the fact his playoff record and winning percentage is below Mike Vick (who is deemed as a failure round these parts) Brees is a failure. You cant have it both ways.

Given that Jake Delhomme is 5-3 lifetime in the playoffs, why do you give him such a hard time, yet continue to prop Mike Vick and his 2-2 playoff record up? Hmmmm...

Ben Rothlisberger is not athletic? Steve Young.

No, Roethlisberger is not any more athletic than 50% of the rest of the starting QBs of the league... He simply may have better scrambling vision, but superior athlete he is not... He's actually a LOT like Jake Delhomme, and I am not a fan of Jake Delhomme...

Steve Young was alright, but he also had a great team and scheme around him...

Football is a team sport, and that includes coaching... No one player, no matter how athletic, will ever make a team succeed single-handedly...

Compare the number of starting Super Bowl QBs, winners or losers, and let me know the ratio of pocket passers to athletes... I'll take a Kurt Warner, a Tom Brady, a Joe Montana, a John Elway, or even a Trent Dilfer any day over a Donovan McNabb or Michael Vick...

We shouldn't go anywhere near Pat White... and we won't...

ahahahahahahahaha

Devine will be Reggie Bush/Chris Johnson hybrid, and a fulltime starter...

How is that if he cant even overshadow white? Plus get ready for Cody White to take the spotlight off of Devine. Devine is nothing special and wont make it in the NFL.
